Siblings Addison (Eric Bana) and Liza (Olivia Wilde) are on the run from a casino heist gone wrong. When a car accident leaves their wheel man and a state trooper dead, they split up and make a run for the Canadian border in the worst of circumstances - a near whiteout blizzard. While Addison heads cross-country, creating mayhem in his wake, Liza is picked up by ex-boxer Jay (Charlie Hunnam), en-route for a Thanksgiving homecoming with his parents, June (Sissy Spacek) and retired sheriff Chet (Kris Kristofferson). It's there the siblings are reunited in a terse and thrilling showdown that pushes the bonds of family to the limit. -- (C) MagnoliaMovie Title : Deadfall

Review For Movie Deadfall
Like all over-ambitious B-movies, this features solid performances by a mix of seasoned talent and promising young actors, all of whom deserve better.Nigel Floyd-Time Out
Despite a super-dark noir plot and respectable cast, "Deadfall" is a thriller that never quite delivers on its promise.
Walter V. Addiego-San Francisco Chronicle
Perhaps the best thing about "Deadfall" is the lifelike messiness of its ending. A couple of the characters have a lot of explaining to do, and this is one case where a sequel might be in order.
Calvin Wilson-St. Louis Post-Dispatch
It's sort of like "Fargo," only with a higher body count and without the wood chipper.
Soren Anderson-Seattle Times
Deadfall is fast and fatalistic ...
Steven Rea-Philadelphia Inquirer
This is the sort of movie best encountered accidentally and for free, caught on basic cable late at night.
Stephen Whitty-Newark Star-Ledger
A B-movie with an A-list cast, crime thriller Deadfall sets its plot in motion with some bracing shocks in its first few minutes.
Jason Best-Movie Talk
A strong cast makes up for thinnish characterisation, and it's so like Fargo it might as well be called "Fargone".
Philip French-Observer [UK]
With a script that exposes its own mechanics and contrivances with such reckless abandon, Deadfall simply can't be prevented from flatlining by the solid ensemble cast and luscious visual palette.
Ben Rawson-Jones-Digital Spy
Deadfall might fancy itself as a 95-minute, wintry version of Bonnie and Clyde, but it's not in the same class with its high body count failing to justify the means, not least during the ludicrous climax.
Graham Young-Birmingham Mail
Grim displays of guilt and remorse are on show from all concerned, but the seriously glum expressions of a high-calibre cast can't inject any meaning into such a contrived story.
Eddie Harrison-The List
Resembles Fargo in its geography and atmosphere, but fatally lacks its sense of humour.
Christopher Tookey-Daily Mail [UK]
You can't help thinking how good the Coen brothers' Fargo was in comparison.
Derek Malcolm-This is London
Big fleecy hats with earflaps are doffed to most of the actors. But, with this script, Deadfall was always destined to be a whiteout.
Donald Clarke-Irish Times
With a focus on messy family relationships, this thriller's deranged comical touches almost make up for its contrived plot and annoyingly thin characters.
Rich Cline-Contactmusic.com
There is just too much going on, with some interesting characters edged out of the limelight ...
Allan Hunter-Daily Express
Too many coincidences spoil the plot, but this is a down'n'dirty, black'n'bloody little thriller. If nothing else, you'll truly feel the chill.
Ken McIntyre-Total Film
What an accurate title.
Peter Bradshaw-Guardian [UK]
From characters and dialogue to the belief-beggaring contrivances of the plot, everything about it feels utterly phony.
Elliott Noble-Sky Movies
Low grade, unremarkable and - worst of all - unnecessarily violent.
David Jenkins-Little White Lies
Engaging thriller, enlivened by some snowy location work and strong performances from a superb cast, though the script struggles to find the right tone.
Matthew Turner-ViewLondon
Director Ruzowitzky lets his cast make the most of the wildly swerving tone.
Rich Cline-Shadows on the Wall
The shifts in tone between black comedy, romance and suspense are often jarring and Dean's script fails to seamlessly weave together its themes of incest and redemption.
Damon Smith-Birmingham Post
Spacek, a boon to any movie, hardly needs do anything to be the only one you don't want to see with a shotgun pointing at her head ...
Tim Robey-Daily Telegraph
For all that Dean's exploration of dysfunctional families punches squarely on the nose, Ruzowitzky bobs and weaves around the cliches in ways that lift Deadfall above many of its genre contemporaries.

Set on the French Riviera in the summer of 1915, Gilles Bourdos' lushly atmospheric drama RENOIR tells the story of celebrated Impressionist painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir, in declining health at age 74, and his middle son Jean, who returns home to convalesce after being wounded in World War I. The elder Renoir is filled with a new, wholly unexpected energy when a young girl miraculously enters his world. Blazing with life, radiantly beautiful, Andrée will become his last model, and the wellspring of a remarkable rejuvenation. At the same time, Jean also falls under the spell of the free-spirited young Andrée. Their beautiful home and majestic countryside grounds reverberate with familial intrigue, as both Renoirs, père et fils, become smitten with the enchanting and headstrong young muse.
